Andrea graduated with a combined degree in Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania in 2002 and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania and High Court of Australia in 2003.
Apart from a year off in 2007 to travel around Europe and the UK with her husband, Andrea has practised on the North West coast of Tasmania since 2003 in the areas of conveyancing, property law and commercial law. After almost 20 years of being an employed solicitor along the coast, Andrea decided to open Blackwood Beattie Legal in July 2023.

The sale and purchase of residential, farming or commercial property, vacant land, off the plan, or strata titled property.
PROPERTY LAW.
Subdivisions, strata developments, boundary adjustments, amendments to sealed plans, transfer of easements, transfers between existing owners or a change of tenancy ie joint tenants to tenants in common, residential tenancy agreements, boundary fence issues.
Commercial Law.
Sale and purchase of businesses, commercial and retail leasing, shareholder agreements, share sale agreements, loan agreements and mortgages, drafting or advice on general commercial agreements.
